In the Fall of 2023 I had the opportunity to take a live figure drawing course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for my minor in fine arts. This class enabled me to gain experience working with models who were willing to be extremely vulnerable. Throughout the semester I discovered my love for charcoal and slowly learned how to use its wide value range to enhance the contrast in my pieces.
